Adding a New Client and Pet

New clients and pets can easily be added within the platform. It’s crucial to ensure that when adding a new client, they use the same email address for all future bookings. This ensures that their profile remains consistent and linked to their email. If they choose to download the Collar app, they should also use the same email address to access their account and manage their bookings seamlessly.

Add a New Client and their Pet within the Pets Module

  1. Go to the Clients tab
  2. Click the icon in the top right corner
  3. Select Add Client from the dropdown and fill in the information you would like from the client; the minimum information you need is Email and Name
  4. Under Terms, please click on the actual text to Accept Terms
  5. Click Add
  6. The Add Pet form box will automatically open; the minimum information you need is: Pet Name, Breed and Birthdate
  7. Click Add to complete adding the client and their pet

Add an Additional Pet to a Client’s profile within the Pets Module

  1. Go to the Clients tab
  2. Click the icon in the top right corner
  3. Select Add Pet from the dropdown and fill in the information; the minimum information you need is Pet Name, Breed and Birthdate
  4. Under Client: search and select the client you are adding an additional pet to
  5. Click Add to complete adding the pet to their owner’s profile

Note

New clients added will not have a payment method attached to their account. You can immediately send an invoice to a new client for Post-Paid services. To charge a new client for a Pre-Paid service, they can add a payment method from within the Collar app.
