Adding or removing a payment method

If an existing payment method on your account is incorrect (e.g. an expired credit card), you can update it or add a new payment method. To manage your payment methods, you need to make sure you have the latest version of the Collar mobile app downloaded.

To add a payment method:

  1. Go to the Pets tab
  2. Go to your Account view, by tapping on the profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Select Account from the list of options
  4. Go to Payment Method, and tap Add
  5. Select Add (+)
  6. Input your card details or choose Apple or Google Pay.
  7. Follow your Bank’s authorisation step if prompted.
  8. Select the newly added payment method
  9. Select Set up

Note

If you are adding a payment method for future repeated payments such as settling invoices or monthly subscription fees, we recommend not using Apple Pay or Google Pay. Instead input your card details manually. Some banks require extra authenticationb methods which cannot be delivered through Apple or Google Pay and will result in your payment method being declined

To remove a payment method

  1. Go to the Pets tab
  2. Go to your Account view, by tapping on the profile icon in the top right corner
  3. Select Account from the list of options
  4. Go to Payment Method, and tap Change
  5. Tap Edit
  6. Tap the red (x) on the payment method you wish to remove
  7. Confirm removal of the payment method
